Prior to beginning his career in law, Mike obtained a degree in Mining Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Denver, and his law degree from Lewis and Clark College of Law.

Following law school, Mike clerked for the United States District Judges Robert Belloni and Gus Solomon in Portland, Oregon and as an attorney for Pepe & Hazard in Hartford, Connecticut where he practiced Construction law.

Mike has practiced law since 1984.  He joined Inman Flynn Biesterfeld Brentlinger & Moritz, P.C. in 1990.
